About the Company
Re:Cognition Health is a leading provider of clinical services specialising in cognitive impairment and neurological conditions. Our Neurodiversity Service offers expert ASD and ADHD assessments, diagnosis and end-to-end management strategies for children and adults in London and Bristol, and now expanding to Dubai. From first assessment to long-term support, our team deliver a complete, clinician-led pathway build around a flexible and evidence based framework.
Our Consultant Psychiatry team provide clinical leadership, governance and oversight across all pathways, including ADHD and autism assessment, diagnostic formulation, medication management and ongoing care. Consultants work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that assessments are comprehensive, evidence-informed and tailored to each individual.
The primary focus of the role is:
a) Deliver consultant-level care in line with scope of practise
b) Give Clinical leadership and direction to all pathways within the service
c) Lead clinical decision-making within multidisciplinary teams (MDTs)
d) Ensure all care aligns with evidence-based practice and clinical standards and professional guidance
e) Prescriber for required medications and emergency contact.
f) Provide specialist clinical leadership across ASD, ADHD and wider neurodevelopmental diagnostic pathways
g) Ensure post-diagnostic recommendations and care planning are clinically robust, individualized, and clearly communicated to patients, families and referrers, in liaison with schools where applicable
h.) Acting in accordance with our clinical governance, compliance, patient safety and quality agenda
i.) Represent the organization externally at Healthcare networks, academic and research forums.
j.) Supporting our new service and expansion plans
The Candidate
To be considered for our Consultant Psychiatrist role, you will have the following skills and experience:
Essential
Qualified and trained in the UK
Solid experience in children services, ASD, ADHD in a private practise setting
Available to start in January 2027, on a part time basis
Excellent verbal and written communication
Desirable
Registered to practice in Dubai or Abu Dhabi
In country, already relocated
Salary/Benefits - negotiable based on experience
