The Role:
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Officer who is interested in developing their career in fast-paced business environment. The right attitude is vital, we are looking for a positive, can-do person able to assist us to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
The role will be reporting to the Finance Director and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for purchase ledger and monthly payment run
- Monitor and reconcile supplier accounts on a regular basis
- Update and reconcile daily sales reports, cashbook, and bank reconciliations
- Perform credit control duties when required
- Prepare and post staff expenses
- Process payments
- Purchasing goods for all sites/departments, creating POS’s.
- Assisting Management Accountant in preparing monthly management
- Resolve internal and external financial queries
- Maintain key controls and reconciliations to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Respond promptly and completely to travel expenses related queries
- Ad-hoc projects given by Finance Director
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year previous experience
- Basic IT Skills, including, Excel, Word and Outlook

Working schedule: 40 hours per week, Full time
Salary: £25,000 - 27,000 per annum, Depending on experience
